These are great every day casual/athletic shorts. Lightweight and comfortable I was pleasantly surprised by how well they fit.I would say they run true to size and in line with other Prana pants I have bought..I got them to switch it up from the patagonia baggies shorts i usually wear during the summer for pretty much everything and I would say they are a solid addition. The side pocket is a bit shallow to actually hold anything, this is definitely a no-frills short so great for hiking or whatever...

This is a great short for fit and very attractive. However, after 1 washing it piled and looked like it had been washed and worn 10 years...I own many Prana products and this was a huge let down. Buyer beware and it may just be a seasonal fabric issue.
