Pull on the prAna Men's Sonora Shorts for whatever you do on your Saturdays. Breathable, stretchy cotton canvas material makes the Sonoras comfy for playing some Frisbee golf or popping down to the hardware store. prAna's inseam gusset and just-above-the-knee length gives your legs more range of motion. Store your keys or cell phone in the Sonora Short's side pocket or mesh-lined hand pockets.
Bottom Line: Comfort and durability for the trail and town.
I ordered these shorts because I needed a nice pair for climbing with a gusseted crotch that would be durable enough to stand up to the rock. These shorts were well made and looked nice but when I put them on they were WAY too short even though the waist fit perfectly. I'd say 4-6 inches (I'm 6 foot tall 30" waist) above the knee..I guess if you normally like your shorts higher for a "full range of motion" these would be perfect for you but as for me, I'll still to my knee length "long" shorts and dignity.
Great construction as I have some other stuff from Prana, but these ran way to big! After trying them on, they also appeared to have an execessively long inseam so I didn't bother ordering a replacement pair.
I've bought several prana pants and shorts over the years and I foolishly orderd some of these shorts without trying them on. I needed a new pair of climbing shorts and bought an XL based on the last pair of pants I had and Hey! they were WAY too large! Genius! With prana stuff, sometimes I'm a large, sometimes and extra large, depending on the year and style. Why prana doesn't go with actual waist measurements is beyond me.
