Description of Pacific Outdoor Equipment Vancouver Bag:
If you commute through rain or shine, you might want to invest in a truly waterproof messenger bag like the Pacific Outdoor Equipment Vancouver Bag. Welded zippers and waterproof fabric keep out moisture even in a serious downpour. Aside from keeping your items completely dry, the Vancouver sling bag keeps them organized. The interior houses three vertical pockets and a zippered mesh pouch, and the main compartment is big enough for a jacket, a change of clothes, and a bag lunch. The flap features a zippered pocket with a full organizer for you pens, cards, cell-phone, and other digi-widgets.
Bottom Line: Bike in the rain—or even walk through a hurricane—and keep your stuff from getting soggy with P.O.E.'s Vancouver Bag.
Very nice bag - perfect for rainy winters in Seattle. I can carry my laptop, with files and binders without any concern of any of it getting wet. Quality built and comfortable. There is an additional waist strap for those bike commuters to keep it over your shoulder while you ride.
While it works for a laptop bag, they didn't provide any support or cushioning for it like other laptop bags. This would have been a nice addition.
I have been using this bag for a couple of months now. I use it to lug around papers, a digital camera, a laptop occasionally, and loose ends. I like the way it is built... very sturdy. I like the materials, waterproof/resistant, and as I work in healthcare, I can wipe it down with anti-nasty wipes. Good number of pockets. Cons: it doesn't really have any expansion capability, so while it is big, you can't make it adjustably bigger. It looks like you're ready to paddle down a river, rather attend a professional meeting.
