I have been skiing for 26 years and my mother was a stickler and made me wear a helmet at a young age. Therefor, I have a lot of helmet wearing experience as well as a background in racing. Needless to say I have worn a lot of helmets in my career. However, the POC helmets have integrated all the aspects of safety and comfort into the product and it shows. They are the safest ski rated helmet on the hill (slopes) and after only one day of wearing it you will be comfortable and unbothered. Use your head and protect it with the best. We bought this for our 9 yr. old son, he loves the fit and the fact he can listen to his Ipod while he's skiing and we feel like he is very safe with this wonderfully made helmet.
