Description of Pearl Izumi Divide Trail Short - Men's:
Cross-country MTB riders bow down, because the Pearl Izumi Divide Trail Short rules. Maybe it's the Divide's full-stretch, tough yet lightweight DuraSensor shell, with its zip mesh leg vents and smooth, stretch-paneled waistband. Maybe it's the floating, removable mesh liner that solves ride-up and drag-down issues, or the seamless 3D Elite Chamois insert that leaves numbness trailside. Or maybe it's the fact that when you wanted an XC short for every day riding, XC race icon Pearl Izumi built one for you and blew away your expectations.
Bottom Line: Pearl goes off-road with a vengeance.
Like:
- Removable liner is well-padded and breathes well
- Zip-open ventilation in the outer short
- Drawstrings to close down leg openings
- Tough outside material
- True to size
- Price
Dislike:
- Needs more pockets
I have used these shorts on a handfull of rides and I am going to be buying another pair. For general trail riding they are nice, good quality biking shorts!
Was disappointed with these shorts. Liner w/chamois was most uncomfortable. And shorts themselves looked awkward, not sleek or slim fitting. Returned for account credit, and picked another brand of bike shorts.
