Get rid of that Harley- approved, outlaw black riding clothing. This vest in neon yellow can be seen from blocks away. Safety is a two way street. If you want to avoid being flattened by cell phone sucking Escalade drones, make sure that you stand out like a small brush fire. This vest is well designed, and perfect over a t-shirt when the weather warms up.
Exactly what I wanted. The yellow/white combo was cheap and is exceptionally bright. I like the reflective piping. I'm really happy with this purchase.
I have the vest in two colors. When I feel like being a "FRIGGING IDIOT" (see dweeb's entry below), I wear the black one...otherwise I go with the orange one. Actually, dweeb has a point...the orange one seems to get a lot more respect from passing cars. I reserve the black for groups rides when we're more visible. Material is great and packable. Works in light rain to protect your chest too.
P.S. I got orange last year...I think this year's version of that is the screaming yellow.
