Description of Powderhorn Wyatt Earp Pant - Men's: |
 |
Like a rider on a pale horse, the Powderhorn Wyatt Earp Softshell Pant charges through the great white deeps. Stretchy, waterproof eVent fabric won't hold you back when it's time to get deep. Cuff scuff guards protect the Billy The Kid Pant from ski edges, low tree branches, and other nasties while the internal boot gaiters stop the deep pow from sneaking up your pant leg. Great for anything from a backcountry tour to a spring day in the resort, these super breathable softshell ski pants lay down the law in the mountains.
Bottom Line: Lay down the law.

| Amazing for the price 07-28-09 |

| At less than $70, these are leaps and bounds the best deal I've seen for breathable, waterproof pants. I haven't had a chance to take these out in winter yet, but initial impressions are that these are insanely comfortable on, run true-to-size (I'm a 30" waist, 5'10, 160lbs, and the small pants fit perfect), and look decent on in the compost color. I tried both the black and the compost, and liked the compost look better. The highly-visible rivets on the front of the black pair are distracting and just aren't my look. But whether these are ideal or not, they really are an amazing deal. I will be using these for winter wear hiking and playing disc golf when the temps drop below freezing. Looking forward to being warm and dry. |

| nice materials - built to look 'important' 07-17-09 |

| The materials and craftsmanship are very good, but the design is lame. The event logo is in fluorescent orange, apparently so people in the lift line or lodge will know how cool you are. The appearance is the PH lamo-cowboy crap, so if you wear these around other tourists that don't know any better, they'll think you're hip. According to PH's descriptions, these are supposedly hard-charging ski pants from the land of super back-country powder, but there are OPEN pockets in front and back... no closures for them. WTF? I intend to stitch the pockets closed so I can still benefit from the functional parts of the pants. If I can help it, not many people will see me in the back-country, let alone my modified-to-be-functional ski pants. |

| its a weird combination, the material is great, the fit is good, not bad at all good sizing, etc, what i don't get and the rivets are cold and pierce thru the fabric, so ... why wouldnt anybody think about that?... cover them w silicon or something, i think i will paint them black, as far as the white stitching .. i don't like it but i can live with it for the price i paid for this. the pockets all of them open ... go figure |
