Description of Patagonia Shelter Stone Pant - Men's:
You won’t need to seek shelter even in the nastiest storms when you’re sporting the Patagonia Men’s Shelter Stone Pant. This three-layer shell pant features a waterproof breathable H2No membrane and reinforced seat and knees for backcountry-worthy protection. An integrated cinch belt and gripper boot gaiters help seal you off on blower days, and the 7/8-length side zips help vent and make for easy on and off while wearing your boots.
I just ordered these pants, and they are really nice. They're a single layer, non-insulated shell, which is what I was looking for. They look really durable, but they're not overly thick. I usually wear a women's small, and these fit me perfectly. They're definitely smaller than most Patagonia men's smalls, so I would size up.
I wore these on a two day ski trip and they kept me very dry while I was out on the slopes. The material seems quite durable. One of my main questions is about those full length thigh zips -- how are you supposed to use those things?
Great quality and build -- what you would expect from Patagonia.
