Description of Patagonia Borderless Zip-Off Pant - Women's:
Patagonia kept changing weather and the environment in mind when it made the Women’s Borderless Zip-Off Pant. Pull on the Borderless and enjoy the comfort of the stretchy, recycled fabric. Then zip the bottoms off and turn this pant into an 18in-inseam capri. Articulated knee patches increase durability for season after season of hiking, backpacking, and multi-pitch climbing.
These pants are lightweight but I had to return them because they are too short. I'm 5'11'' and the regular length was a little too short for me. The material is lightweight and probably dries quickly, but it does make a swishing sound which could get annoying. I also found the seam and zippers on the legs a little bulky.
The Patagonia Borderless Zip-off pant has great styling and fits comfortably but they're too long for 5' frame so I wear them strictly as a capri. The only drawback to this pant is the slight swish-swosh sound the fabric makes when I walk. They're the only hiking pant I own that sounds like ski pants. They're a little heavier material than some of the other hiking pants I own so I tend to wear them when it's raining. They keep me a little warmer and then dry surprisingly quickly.
If I could live in these pants, I would. In a heartbeat. The fit is perfect for me. The fabric is lightweight and stretchy, and has the added bonus of being recycled! So far, I've only been able to wear them to the office but once the weather improves, I look forward to many adventures in these babies.
