Patagonia made the Women’s Amaia Dress with gauzy-light organic cotton, so you’ll hardly feel like you have anything on. You won’t keep looking down to make sure you’re not nekkid, though, because so many compliments will get tossed your way all day long. Gathered straps, a crossover V-neck, and side tie make the Amaia dress so feminine that you’ll feel like a girl even if you’re playing on your nephew’s longboard, downing a cold beer, or climbing a tree to retrieve a wayward Frisbee.
Bottom Line: A play dress for grownups--and it happens to be lovely.

| This is my favorite dress I own-BY FAR. I have the blue flowery print one which is very pretty. The fabric is very light and airy so it is great for hot weather. The cut is adorable and very flattering: fitted in the bust, but the fabric skims right over the midsection and flares out at the bottom. Cute cute cute. Every time I wear this, I get all kinds of compliments and people wondering where I got it. |

| I love the way this dress feels and looks. The material is about as perfect as you can imagine for hot, humid weather -- so nice! I got a size 6 but might have gotten away with a 4, as the top was a bit roomy (I'm smaller chested, 34B). Not enough of a problem for me to return it, but I did need to fashion a hidden snap to ensure I wouldn't fall out of it. Overall, a favorite. |

| Nice dress, sizing runs small 08-21-09 |

| This dress is a beautiful shade of blue/green. The style and material are both nice. However, it is too tight in the bust area (I'm a full 40C). I'm going to keep it though, because I've been losing weight and have 20 lbs. to go, at which time it should fit perfectly. And I live in Florida, so sleeveless wear is appropriate most of the time here! I would recommend it to a friend. |
