Description of Patagonia Primo Down Jacket - Women's:
The Patagonia Women’s Primo Down Jacket is serious about every aspect of winter riding—weather protection, warmth, and breathability. Welded seams and waterproof nylon fabric block moisture so you don’t have to limit your puffy to clear-sky days, and ventilating mesh panels suspend the 700-fill down liner so you won’t overheat on tough mogul runs (air circulates between liner and shell). Snap the powder skirt, stash your MP3 player in the insulated left chest pocket, and pull up the lightly insulated hood.
I am always cold but this jacket is really warm. The only drawback is that I should have bought black because the white is seriously difficult to keep clean. Somehow I don't pay attention (in a rush to get skiing) and rub up against the truck and dirt city. I have tried wiping a light mix of Woolite and water on the outside to get the dirt off, but it is not a great solution. Other than feeling like pig pen on the outside couldn't be more toasty warm on the inside. It fits great, if anybody has any suggestions for a quick wipe clean I'll take it.
I just bought this jacket in black and LOVE it. It has a nice cut for the women. It is actually cut and will easily transition from ski slope to after skiing! The only complaint that I have is that there is no goggle cleaning cloth but.......
Trust the reviews!! It is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. We have an indoor ski facility here and I always freeze when we go - far colder than on the slopes and I have skied some crap conditions. I was so warm in this jacket that I had to open the pit zips and skied without my gloves. Unbelievable but true.
I have to admit - I choked a bit over the price. I even left the tags on for a few days. At this price I wanted to be sure I LOVED it. After the inital test drive - I think this jacket will be worth every penny.
Can wait to take it out for real!!!
Awesome Jacket!!! I highly recommend this jacket! It is very comfortable and warm. Also, it has a feminine fit and isn't too bulky like many warmer jackets tend to be. I am 5'11" and this jacket was long enough for me. If you live in a cold climate, this is the jacket for you!
