Description of Patagonia Talus Softshell Jacket - Women's: |
 |
When cold conditions can’t stop you from moving fast in the backcountry, pull on the Patagonia Women’s Talus Jacket. This four-way stretch softshell gives you windproof, water-resistant protection with a warm fleece lining for ice climbing, ski touring, or mountaineering. This Talus features a discontinuous polyurethane layer to strike a balance between wind protection and breathability, and two fleece handwarmer pockets for warming up chilled digits. Store your ski pass in the zippered arm pocket, and when you’ve worn the jacket out, return it to Patagonia for recycling through the Common Threads Program.
Bottom Line: The Talus holds warmth and blocks wind on nasty alpine adventures.

| wearing this jacket now for a trip through Ireland surfing, hiking, camping. It is weather for dogs here- rainy, damp 50's every day. After coming out of the cold Atlantic waves this coat is a dream.Warm, dry, breathes well and looks great. Makes me look heaps more respectable! |

| I'm really liking this jacket. Its warm, does a great job blocking wind and light rain, and it looks really spiffy. Its also good for pet owners, it almost repels hair. Its a nice slim fit that is flattering. The collar is a little stiff at first, but I'm finding that it relaxes with a few washes. It keeps you very warm if you are active, even in extreme cold, but if you are sitting around at camp you might want some insulation. |

| Patagonia Talus Softshell 12-26-08 |

| Love Love Love Patagonia, but this softshell was a bit of a disappointment. The collar is stiff and rubbed uncomfortably under my chin. The collar could have used a drawcord. I found the fit a little funky too; it tended to ride up around the middle while skiing. |
