The recycled polyester insulation on these Patagonia insulated ski pants keeps your legs cozy without adding a lot of bulk, and articulated knees provide freedom of motion. The Rubicon Puff Pants' triple-needle stitching at stress points adds durability, and the taffeta lining wicks sweat as you heat up on the hill. If you really start to overheat, unzip the thigh vents. The Rubicon Puff Pants' two low-slung side pockets add casual-jeans style.

I was skiing at Deer Valley and noticed the ski patrol wearing these pants. They loved them, said they're strong, warm and waterproof, so I ordered a pair. My only complaint is they're worn low on the waist and if you try to pull them up, they hike up your butt. Other than that, they're my favorite pair.
