Made from Patagonia's waterproof recycled polyester and lined with wicking taffeta, the Primo Pants prevent both snow and sweat from soaking your legs. Abrasion-resistant panels protect the seat, thighs, and lower legs from wear and tear, and scuff guards on the leg hems keep your boards from shredding your pants. Full side zips offer superior ventilation and allow you to get the pants on and off over boots. Gaiters stop the fluff from getting in your boots, and articulated knees let you move freely as you tele or alpine ski. For reliable, comfortable winter protection, this Patagonia pant is Primo.

In a word: beefy. I'm starting to think these pants will last forever. Triple layer rump & knees & heavy-duty side zips. I love 'em & they've kept me warm & dry, but they are pretty heavy--> but that weight is also why they're so durable. They fit like most other Patagonia pants- a little snug in the waist & a little big in the hips for me, but their warranty & materials are top notch, so it's worth it. They are sized for some layering, so the size you wear in their other pants should be the same for these. I'm 5'6" & they're plenty long.

Be advised that these pants run very large. I generally wear a size 6 in ski pants and when I put these on, they felt more like a size 10! They definitely are durable, however, and I love the full leg zip.
