Description of Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottom - Boys': |
The Patagonia Kids' Capilene 3 Bottoms give your child the same high-quality Capilene insulation that you wear into the hills. These midweight Patagonia bottoms wick moisture and dry quickly, whether your kid spends the day skiing, snowboarding, or hiking. A gusseted crotch, regular fit, and elastic waistband mean these long johns fit comfortably and let your child move freely.
Bottom Line: The warm, wicking Patagonia Capilene 3 Bottoms—just like yours, only smaller.

| Great pants but... 05-18-09 |
Mishy (1): |
| I love these pants and have been buying them for my 7 year old son since he was a baby. I purchased a second pair because he somehow wore a hole into the knee. I was so excited when I got these in the mail and had him wear them the next day. After snowboarding, he took off his outer pants and played around my office in the capilene bottoms. That night he had a hole in the new pair! I was so frustrated!
Great pants but don't let your kid crawl around on carpet with them. |

| My son was toasty on our COLD ski trip. He's a complainer if something doesn't fit well, and he didn't make a peep. And they still look new after many washings. |

| Sizing seems acurate 11-04-08 |

| The XXS fits my 3 year old perfectly. Granted there is a bit of extra in the length in the arms and legs but I assume this is intentional since after at age 3 children start to grow faster in height than in width - plus an exact fit in the legs would prove to be to restrictive for a child who flexes in every which way. The capilene items are more form fit, yet no to the point of restrictive or irritating so they work great for layering, and provide a good deal of warmth when doing so. As well they can be used as a great pair of PJ's. Not as soft as Merino wool, but less expensive and more durable. |
