Description of Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket - Men's: |
The Patagonia Classic Retro-X Jacket is made for working under the hood of your truck or spending the night in a bivy. Patagonia made this jacket with a plush Synchilla Fozzie-the-Bear outer, a polyester mesh liner, and a windproof breathable membrane sandwiched in the middle. The Classic Retro-X Jacket packs a surprising amount of warmth for its light weight. The sooner you get this jacket, the sooner you'll be able to mat down the ¼-inch Synchilla for its real Classic look.
Bottom Line: Classic style meets lightweight windproofing in Patagonia's Retro-X Jacket.

| This jacket cuts the wind and keeps the warmth around your body. True to size in fit. The only con is the long fleece picks up twigs and seeds if you are out in the bush. |

| This retro jacket give you a unique look that no other company has pulled off as well as patagonia. The windstopper layer makes this a perfect go-to jacket for all of fall and early winter. The quality of the jacket is exactly what you would expect for the price and the sizing runs true. |

| The Retro-X is a superb casual fall/winter jacket. It has very thick piling and the Windstopper barrier is excellent. Mine is a size larger than I would normally wear (Med. instead of Sm.) so that I can use it as a jacket over a sweatshirt or other bulky garment. It wouldn't be my first choice for any sort of hike or other strenuous activity, as it isn't very breathable, but it is perfect for around town/hanging out. And...Patagonia comes out with new color options every year so check out older seasons if you don't see one you like from the newest season. |
