Description of Of the Earth Twiggy Denim Pant - Women's:
You should feel as good about your clothes as you do in them. That's why Of the Earth made their Women's Twiggy Jeans from organic cotton and infused them with a touch of spandex for slim-fit style and stretchy comfort. These denim pants have a vintage look with an almost-but-not-quite punk rock pegged fit. Stitching details on the back pockets and slightly forward side seams add to the Twiggy's one-of-a-kind look.
Bottom Line: The Of the Earth Twiggy Jeans are for girls who have their priorities straight.
after reading the one review I purchased a darker wash at a size 28 which is a little larger then I get but I was concerned cause I have thick thighs... I got the jeans and the size 28 felt like a 30 around my waist, I had them taken in cause I liked the weight of the fabric, and decided to try the lighter wash as well, but at my size. I received the 27 Antique was... fit perfect in the legs for a skinny jean, however the waist was cut like a 25, I had about 2 inches of gap... they are nice jeans, but be warned the sizing is extreme between washes
These jeans look really cute, but I think they run really small. I wear size 29 comfortably, so after reading the previous review I ordered a 28. I couldn't even start to button them. I re-ordered a 29 and they are really snug. So, it depends on how you are built on what size to order. If are really curvy and have a small waist, then you can probably get by with ordering true size. But if you aren't, like me, then I say order a size up.
Okay, so I'm a little late to the skinny jean trend, but only because I never could find a pair I liked. These jeans took care of that. They do have some pretty typical waist fitting issues (e.g. fits in the hips, but too big in the waist), however, a belt takes care of that. The fit through the hip and thigh area is great, though (most skinny jeans tend to be way too tight over my quads, but these are actually very flattering). I also LOVE the back pocket detail. I would recommend ordering a size down from your usual (or even two sizes down if you like a snug fit). I usually wear a 28, sometimes a 29, and in these particular jeans the 27 was the best fit for me.
