When you take a weekend trip, pack your gear in the Osprey Sojourn 22in Travel Pack and avoid the headaches of checking your luggage. This backpack brings the body of wheeled luggage to the soul of an Osprey pack. Carry the Sojourn 22in to the gate by the padded shoulder harness or extend the ergonomic handle and roll it on its polyurethane wheels. Within the pack, straps prevent your gear from migrating while mesh and fabric pockets help you organize your sundries. Stuff this pack with everything you'll need for the weekend—StraightJacket compression straps ensure you'll be able to fit the Sojourn 22 into the overhead compartment.
Bottom Line: The Osprey Sojourn 22 is made active weekend holidays.
After MUCH research for the 'perfect' bag for a 3 month trip, including multiple stops and types of travel, I thought I had a winner. Not so fast! The bottom bracket, that holds the bag upright, broke after the first plane ride. So much for high quality, high priced Osprey products!

2 years and counting of load hauling & travel abuse 09-08-09
After 45 days of travel with it, I believe this is the best travel bag out there, period.
A healthy portion of my travel time is spent walking over smooth surfaces to get to the outdoors- through airports or touring through cities. But where the road ends, out comes the Osprey suspension, and within a minute, I'm continuing on my way- my knees happier to have been saved the first half of my journey not carrying my load, but pulling it.
Bag interior is well laid out, and once the bag is stretched, cavernous.
I have managed 10 days straight on one trip out of this bag, going to nice city restaurants the first 5 nights, and backpacking over rugged terrain the next 4. The suspension squeaks a bit, and I removed the wheels after day 2 hiking. But the bag rocked- I'm tempted to buy another.
And my bottom bracket has never fallen off.
Frame broke where it attaches to the wheel bracket. It took a year and about twenty plane trips, but still disappointing. Also, does not hold as much as I thought it would for the size due to its convex bottom. Fits in very few overheads
