Remember origami? Remember boondoggle? Well, if you actually do, then all your nostalgia has been transmogrified into incarnation in the form of Orikaso’s After Dinner Set. Lightweight, packable, dual-purpose dessert and origami fun. Believe it. These flat panels of polypropylene turn into useable dishes and gaming boards with the help of a little ancient Chinese magic. Included in this backpacking dish set: chessboard, draughts, backgammon, and some shot glasses to ensure good times through the night.
Bottom Line: Totally in league with Optimus Prime.
Did I mention that I really love these dishes. Now I understand that love is a strong word to use when referring to a plastic set of dishes, but they deserve it!!
These dishes are perfect for anyone. I have purchased several sets for: Camping, Backpacking, Emergency 72 hour kits, Lunches, Pic-nic baskets, and the list goes on.
They are very lightweight, durable, and easy to use. I would recommend these to anyone.
Good: they pack up and clean up reasonably easy and are light weight.
Bads: Heat goes right through them and burns your hand (Bowl especially).
Not very durable with all the folding.
Side note: For trekking I would recommend squishy bowls. The food grade silicone they are made with insulates much better, and the clean up is the best ( flip them inside out and lick them off before washing)
THe crush easily and pack well too.
