The Orage Duc Glove is pronounced “dook,” thank you very much. It's French. For “holy schneikies this thing kicks ass.” Orage's best waterproof breathable technology—PR1ME/OT Gold—hooks these gloves up 20K + waterproof protection and 20,000g/m2 breathability. Translation? Your hands stay dry but not clammy no matter how wet it gets. Lightweight synthetic insulation boosts warmth and treated sheepskin leather gives you unrivaled grip and durability.
Bottom Line: Orage's top-of-the-line glove for wet and cold winter days.
These gloves have never let my hands get cold, even on the coldest or wettest days. They don't freeze on you in the cold, and keep your hands from getting soggy in the slush. Granted, they do get waterlogged a bit, but your hands stay dry. I will agree that the base of the glove is not made to keep out snow, but the rest of the glove is made to keep you warm.
I love the quality of this glove. I have the Dark chocolate. The leather is soft and dextrous and the glove is very warm. They are a handsome glove. My only gripe is the wrist gauntlet is loose so the opening flairs out which makes it very hard to get under your jacket cuff. Snow gets into your wrist.
Ordered these (dark chocolate) for my son but they were stolen by his father. My husband loves these gloves. He says they are very warm. A little bulky if you are trying to use your keys to unlock doors, etc. Otherwise, great leather gloves.
