Outdoor Research created the Mythic Capri Pants for women who would rather spend their weekend hiking or climbing than hanging at the mall. Stretch-woven nylon fabric helps women do just what they want. Thanks to the Mythic Capri Pants' excellent stretch and articulated knees, you can take them up a rock climb or down the most technical trails around without worrying about them inhibiting your movement. Outdoor Research included a DWR treatment to help these pants fight off light rain if the weather turns bad before you make it back to the trailhead.

I own two pairs of OR Mythic Capris from last season and they are amongst my favorite pants. However, this season, the material changed, it is more like a microfibre. As well, the sizing has changed. My past season Mythic Capris are size S so I ordered S again, only to find that this seasons Small is 1.5 inches bigger in the waist. I had to return them because they were too big.
