Description of Obermeyer Tremblant Jacket - Women's:
Snow or shine, the Obermeyer Tremblant Jacket likes to spend long days on the mountain. This insulated ski jacket fends off weather’s nastiness so you can experience Nature’s flattering side. ComforMax insulation holds warmth close without leaving you Stay-Puft, and the removable hood offers options when the skies clear. Bust open the Tremblant’s Control Zone Ventilation when the day warms up, and keep you goggles clear with the included goggle wipe.
Bottom Line: The Tremblant makes bad weather tremble.
This jacket is great-- it just put up a nice fight against some rugged conditions, including a day on the slopes in a blizzard! It runs SMALL however, and while I'm a size 4-6 in clothing, I had to get a size 8 to have a little more room in the jacket. It is not bulky, it fits well, all of the features are amazing, and it got plenty of compliments.
PS, the customer service at Backcountry.com is wonderful, as they handled my returns perfectly.
I bought this jacket 1st in an 8 and had to return it for a 10. I tried on other Obermeyer jackets..they all run small.
I love this jacket; it's warm and I like the cut and clean style. And I can't live w/out hand panties.
But what I don't like is the hood is very difficult to get over my helmet---a real pain when going up the lift... and there is no sleeve pocket to stash my lift card (not a problem if you live in New England).
I purchased this jacket before a ski trip to Big Sky, Montana in January. It was very comfortable and warm. I normally wear a size 6 but I ordered an 8 to have room for layering. It was perfect. I liked having several pockets for all my stuff on the slopes. I also received many compliments on my "cool blue jacket".
