I have a bony ass, and these work great to protect the grundle area from abuse. They also look really cool, just the right length. The adjustable velcro waist is nice for fine-tuning the fit (it has velcro tabs like some ski pants do). Also, the huge vents on the front work great for preventing swamp ass after a long day of riding.
