The Oakley Women's Vent MTB Short gets you ready to ride whether you're hungry for single track or you're just not in to Lycra. But don't be fooled by this Oakley shorts' street style—they rules the trail. Side seam venting gets the air flowing, while an ergonomic cut, foam padding, and a fixed mesh liner keep you comfortable in the saddle.
Bottom Line: Take street style to the single track.

Messed Up Sizing 07-11-08

I bought these off of Chainlove in size medium, my second attempt at getting Oakley shorts that fit. I'm generally a size 8, sometimes 6, and wear a medium in most brands, and these were massive. The waistband was inches too big, and the inner spandex shorts were loose around my bigger than average thighs. I liked the look of these, so I brought them back to the retail store to try a small. The smalls are about 3.5 to 4 inches smaller in the waistband, and border on too small for me. I think there should be another size in between these, if not two. I've kept them because the price was right, and they do the job, and I've ended up liking the chamois. Long story short, try a size down, and maybe they'll fit. Oakley needs to get their sizing figured out.
I read the review from Anonymous, but judging from what was listed on "Sizing", the size that fit me (as a size 8-10) was large. So I ordered it & whoa, it was way big. I've sent it back & I'm sure the medium will be fine, but I'm adding my review to the one from Anonymous - you're likely going to be happier if you look at the size that should fit & then order the next size down. These are great shorts - the chamois is better for me on long rides (50ish miles) than gel. And of course it's great to have pockets.
They run small. I usual wear a large and I couldn't even get these on. Plus the padding didn't seem that great. I returned them and am going to try a pair of Pearl Izumi.
