Description of Oakley Chamber Pant - Women's: |
 |
Oakley gave the Women’s Chamber Pant extra fleece-backed insulation just where you need it, so you can take a seat in the park or kneel while fiddling with your bindings without freezing. Fully taped seams and sturdy boot gaiters keep the snow out, and a thigh air vent system maintains primo climate control. Soft mesh lining glides over your base layer, and a loose bootcut fit gives you room to bend for grabs with ease. Adjust the waist tabs to fine-tune the fit for your lady curves.
Bottom Line: Snow-friendly, park-inspired style.

| I am typically a size M in all women's snowboarding pants, so I figured the same would be true of these. I ordered the vivid blue in a size M. When they got to my house I was quite sad...they were GARGANTUAN. Not only was the waist extremely big, the legs were like...pontoons or something equally as unflattering. The color is also not as shown...its more of a bit darker, like you might expect if you got the above color sopping wet. That being said, the fabric had a great feel and had they actually fit they might have been cute. I'm still debating if I want to go through the effort of reordering a size S to see if they fit better. Before you buy these, PLEASE check the sizing chart. They really do run big...like big enough to fit your sister in with you too, so you might want to size down. |

| Ok, yes the waist was a bit big (I'm a size 4/small very consistently and ordered a small), but there are waist adjusters on the inside that made it work just fine. The legs are wide, but that's the style. It looks very cute with a well fitted jacket (If your ski coat is very puffy or boxy, these might not look so hot). They are extremely well made with tons of great features and very warm. I love the fleece in the knees and butt, I was able to sit and kneel in the snow for a long time without feeling cold at all. |

| Size DOWN! 03-12-09 |

| I caved and ordered these pants in a size SMALL after having ordered a medium before (had to return them cuz they were too big), despite usually being a medium in all boarding pants. The small fit well, although be warned that they say they are baggy/loose fit, and they do mean it. If you size down/go with the sizing chart provided, the pants should fit fine, and they have excellent construction. Definitely recommended! |
