Description of Oakley Snow Bomber Jacket - Women's:
Pull on the Oakley Women’s Snow Bomber Jacket and ride when the soft stuff is falling at the resort. Then remove the powder skirt, attach the faux-fur trim on the removable hood, and wear this shell downtown. The 10K-rated fabric and fully taped seams smirk at light snow flakes, and the removable features won’t weigh you down (or bulk you up) when it’s a bluebird day. A magnetic hold-down system helps keep the hood attached to the back of the jacket when the wind kicks up, wrist gaiters block the chill, and the loose fit leaves room for layering in the dead of winter.
I traded my northface jacket for this one (can you believe it?) and it ended up being a very wise choice. Its a light jacket that was able to keep out the wind and cold, but you will still need to layer inside of it if the temps begin to drop. I like to be able to layer instead of wearing bulky jackets. I would recommend this jacket for very good beginners or intermediate skiers/boarders who tend to get warm because they aren't on their tooshies all day. I took a chance at getting the XS because I really wanted a fitted look. I am 5'3 and 110 so it was perfect for me, even with layers inside.
This jacket is EVERYTHING!
warm, cute, comfy, designed REALLY well.
Love the magnet technology that keeps everything in place.
I wore it camping in the snow and snowboarding. It's light and perfect! Looks great on.
It's so awesome! I love the color, it goes really well with the white pants I have. As I know from experience, Oakley jackets do run a bit large. I bought the large but had to return it cuz it was too big. But later caught the jacket again in a medium. It is well worth your money!!
