The Oakley Women’s Straight Jacket might just make you crazy, it’s so comfortable and warm. But we mean crazy in a good way—not raving-lunatic-yelling-at-clouds crazy. This 3-in-1 jacket couples a 10K waterproof shell with a removable liner to give you options for all weather. Wear just the shell on wet spring days, just the liner when you kick it around town, or both together on those blustery mid-winter days. Oakley threw in critical venting for temperature regulation and a removable snow skirt and hood so you can mix it up. The Straight Jacket fits loose, but has a feminine cut, so it doesn’t have the dreaded box look.
This jacket is awesome! It runs a little big, but still fits great. The belt and longer, form-fitted cut is very very complimentary. Looks great. Feels great. Is great.
Just bought this jacket and wore it on a 3 day ski outing with crazy temp changes. the 3 piece system was perfect warm enough for the bitter cold snowing days and cool enough when it was 40 and sunny. the reason I gave it 4 stars is cause I only wore it 3 days and one of the belt loops came off so I have to return it. P.S. the day before my jacket arrived from backcountry, I saw the exact same one on steep and cheap for $103. I paid $269. I was horrified!
I use this as my primary snowboard jacket. I ride in CO where the winds can be pretty intense and the conditions are variable. The jacket has kept me very warm so far (have yet to test it in temps below 15F). The sleeves are long enough to fit over gloves without feeling bulky. The coat itself is also a little longer than traditional coats which adds extra warmth (and style). The removable gaiter and hood are also great. Overall, it had all the features I was looking for and I was surprised by the quality of the jacket as it was an "Oakley"... they make great shades, but I didn't know about the reputation of their clothes before I tried it out myself. A girl at a shop in Breck told me that Gretchen Bleiler started to design this too, she just never finished it so her logo didn't get on it. The fact that a girl designed it definitely shows!! I've already received compliments on it in the lift line!
