The Oakley Men's Descent Bike Short is essentially a shell, kind of like a boardshort design, so you can wear whatever you want to stay comfy on the trail. Contrasting front panels with laser cut mesh give you ventilation on longer trail rides or freeriding on hot days. An internal elastic waistband keeps these baggy fit bike shorts up. 13-inch inseams touch below your kneecaps and still cover your knees when you're in the saddle. Hidden side pocket stashes keys, some change, or lip balm.

Oakley has designed possibly the best all around mtb shorts to date with the Descent short. Lightweight, baggy and super stylish. They are much like a board short but built to handle the rigors of mountain biking, baggy and long but not enough to become an obstruction when handling gnarly tech sections of the trail. I even use them on long xc rides because where I live lycra is a no-no!

These Oakley shorts are top quality in materials and features. They spare no detail. Nice handfeel, well vented. These shorts exceeded my expectations and I'm very happy. I would buy another Oakley pair of shorts in a split second.

These shorts are nice for mild weather riding but if it's hot out, forget it. The shorts are heavily lined and have essentially no storage. It's okay if you have a jersey (for pockets) on but if you use them to commute not good. It's just nice to be able to reach for your keys or other small items if you need them. Instead you have to take off your pack and dig for keys. A single zip cargo pocket and a lighter liner would have made these shorts a 5.
