Description of Oakley Grapevine Transitions Sunglasses - Women's:
Jackie O may have pioneered the oversized sunglasses look, but we don't think she enjoyed this kind of optical precision. The Oakley Grapevine Transitions Sunglasses have that vintage look, but feature photochromic lenses that lighten and darken to match the condition—no swapping lenses or ditching your shades every time the sun goes behind a cloud. Oakley's High Definition Optics give you distortion-free vision, and lightweight, yet durable O Matter frames gently hug your face without painful pressure points.
Bottom Line: Oakley's latest lens technology in a timeless design.

I needed a pair of sunglasses I could take anywhere, and that my eyelashes won't wipe the lens everytime I blink leaving it dirty. They are superlight and comfy, fit snuggly and respect very much the real color of the day without any glare, the only thing is that they are not really transitions, but can be worn in the inside as well.
Awesome style, fits very well. I typically have a hard time fitting sunglasses (high cheekbones, low nose bridge) and have never been able to fit a pair of sunglasses that don't have nose pads. Well these fit perfectly! The frames look big but aren't too big for a woman's face. Super clear lense, I can wear these anywhere...casually, hiking, biking, snowboarding. Agree that I don't notice the lenses actually transition but what I do notice is that these glasses are fine in super bright sun, as well as indoors and driving through a tunnel. That's about as much transitioning as I need!
Got these as gift for my ma on Mother's Day and she's rocking 'em good.
Loves the lenses and they're a great fit on her small/med face.
She raves about how the lenses change with the light...
