An eye bunker for ice storms, the Oakley Wisdom Goggle's amplified lens dimensions extend the range of peripheral and downward vision. Contoured to facial geometry, the Wisdom offers a precise, comfortable fit enhanced by triple-layer face foams. An arctic blast shield blocks icy powder burns. Oakley retooled the intake ports for channeled airflow that reduces fog while keeping air currents away from eyes. These goggles are also available with a High Intensity lens for overcast days and an Iridium lens for sunny days. FITS MEDIUM TO LARGE FACES BEST.
Bottom Line: Oakley has topped themselves in design and style.
Sure these goggles look cool and I'm sure are technically very well made; however, they simply do not fit with a helmet. I read other reviews that said it was a tight fit or they wore the goggles under their helmet, but it was impossible either way for me.
I bought this model of the Wisdom after reading good reviews about them. The description stated (and still states) helmet compatible. This is WRONG. Not only the strap is really short so that you would have to set up the goggles on your helmet and then try to fit your head into it (and you would have to remove the goggles and the helmet at the same time) but also the plastic ends make IMPOSSIBLE a good fit even in those conditions. These straps are definitely designed for WITHOUT HELMET USAGE. Oakley sells helmet straps I might try this or return the product. In any case don't intend using this with an helmet without replacement of the strap. The description is at least MISLEADING or WRONG.
This one is my 4th goggles and love it, it works perfectly, very comfortable, fit over glasses nicely, and the yellow tint lens make snowboarding so much more comfortable, but seems like the lens scratch a little bit easier than other brand...maybe I just abuse it too much.
