Great shoe good price 10-21-09

This is my first road shoe. So far I have put about 500 miles on it, and it has been both comfortable and cool. I am not into racing yet so the weight doesn't bother me much.

I just got these from Realcycist.com last week. Have put close to a hundred miles in them since. So far I love 'em. I'm more about comfort than how technical they are and these are probably the most comfortable road shoe I've owned without skimping too much on performance. The wider toe box in the Northwave shoes is the key for me. One thing I would suggest is to go at least a 1/2 size bigger than normal. They do fit small. I normally wear a size 10 in most shoes. I went with the 43.5 (10.75 US) in the Vertigo after getting the same version of their mountain bike shoe earlier in the season.
