I like the lacing system on this. It is very easy to use. you tighten the top and lower half on different laces, so you can get that hand lace feel. The lace system has handles you pull and then you tuck them in on the site of the boot. Takes it really easy get a good pull on the lace. They are comfy and the have good heal hold. they are cushy and have a good flex for an all around boot.
Love my new northwaves - same comfy fit of my old ones, but the locking system allows a tighter, more secure feeling fit. The locking system is a hassle at first, but once I figured it out it is pretty easy to use + my laces never become untied while I am riding! I def recommend these boots - one note though - the sizing is slightly different from the older ones - I needed a half size bigger!
These boots are sooo comfortable, but I have been having trouble keeping them tight. The laces like to unlatch (of course I could just be dumb and not know how to secure them..) But other than that they are great! Nice and flexible for park riding, too!
