Nice jacket if you are just looking for a cotton version of your technical shell. Looks much more tech than in the pictures. The fabric is very comfortable and soft, but is very thin and doesn't seem like it would retain much heat at all. This one got returned.

I have been looking a long time for the perfect throw-on-and-take -the-dogs-for-a-walk-jacket. This is it and so much more. It is so comfortable that I wear it on lighter/shorter treks as well. The fit is ideal - tapered with room to move. Style and function in equal parts. You can throw a pretty substantial base layer on if needed, but best of all is the soft feel, so a t-shirt is just grand. The most striking thing to me was the quality of the construction and attention to detail. This is one well designed jacket.
