The Ignition can lay down arcs on groomers with ease, but the 90/80 flex index is tuned to save your ankles and shins when you’re ripping through bump fields and landing park airs. Nordica's Full Shock Eraser padding around the tongue and cuff help absorb hard-snow harshness and combat shin bang. An elastomer wedge in the midsole dampens vibration on the icy in-run, and the Ignition’s 101 millimeter last provides a comfortable, all-day fit.

I use this boot for mostly all mountain and some messing around in the park. I have also used this boot in big mountain terrain in BC and it has even performed well in any terrain including the park. A very versatile boot especially for the price.
The Full Shock Eraser system is awesome. These boots allow you to ski all day stomping and pounding without feeling a thing. The fit is good though the soles wear a little quick in my opinion, but the heel is replaceable.
I frinking love these boots! Used to have Beast 12's and now these. They work well for anything you can possibly through at them. I weigh 195 lbs and was worried the flex was too soft, but It works well for me in the gnarliest of snow conditions. They kill in the park, are great for all mountain, and have worked well for me A/T-ing even though they are pretty heavy boots. And did i mention they are soooooo comfortable.
