This pack does exactly what the description says it does. It's a good size for inbounds/sidecountry use and it's actually pretty functional for day hikes and rides in the summer. The only thing I'd change is the location of the digital camera pocket on the hip belt, although that's more just a personal preference. There's minimal room for gear (kind of obvious at 720 cu in), which I like because the more room I have the more stuff I tend to take with me. This is a good pack to add to your collection, but if it's your only bag and you do any backcountry that requires a sizeable amount of gear/food/layers you'll probably want to go with something bigger.

My son has had many backpacks in his days, but this is the best. He said he feels bad, but he has givin up the bag he has used for work and pleasure for many years for this new bag. He bought this bag for skiing, but now carries his computer and all his daily needs everyday. His has told all of his 25 year old friend about this bag and we, as a family, have now ordered 2 more bags since he had been so pleased it.
