A lighter, stretchier version of its sister jacket, the Warm W3 WDS, the Millet Women’s W3 Wind Stretch Jacket provides female alpine and ice climbers with windproof mobility and weather resistance thanks to Gore Windstopper Soft Shell fabric. Articulated arms and elbows let you move freely in the mountains, and the integral, anatomic hood helps seal out nasty weather. The two large Air Flow pockets let you ventilate and hold your energy bars or topo map.

I got this jacket right before my trip to Alaska this summer, and it was a really good idea. For the majority of our trip it rained and it was pretty windy, we also spent a lot of time on boats, but I stayed warm and dry everyday with this jacket. It is completely wind and water proof and the cuffs and hood cinch closed well. It fits nicely and is styled well, it also layers with a fleece well for those chillier days.
