Keep going upward in nasty alpine conditions when you’re wearing the Millet Women’s Vertical Primaloft Jacket. This insulated shell blocks harsh weather and keeps you warm thanks to Gore-Tex Performance Shell fabric and Primaloft insulation. Millet designed the Vertical with an adjustable, removable hood, an attached powder skirt, and waterproof zippers to keep moisture out. Two hand warmer pockets keep your digits from freezing, and the inside zippered pocket holds your avalanche beacon or energy bars.

i got this jacket just before a snow storm in Colorado and it definitely kept me dry and warm. in severe cold snow you will need to layer something warm underneath as extra. alone it won't keep you warm. its great for cooler temperatures and rain. i think its cozy and a great fit. i got the medium and i'm 5'6" @ 120 lbs.
