| I've had this jacket for about a year and half and it is one of my most prized gear possessions. It is so light and compressible that I don't have to agonize over whether or not to bring it - if it's gonna be chilly, then toss it in. There are many hikes when I have not needed its warmth, but because it's so light and small I didn't kick myself afterwards for lugging it up - there just isn't much to lug. It offers raging warmth, and the cut is perfect for me. I've read a few reviews that say the sleeves are too short, but as a 5'4" person, the sleeves are right on. I have the red onion color; very cute. The cut is quite feminine, too - thoughtful for balloon-y down jackets. The fleece lining in the pockets is a wonderful touch. My only negative is that the material is so thin that the feathers are visible; not that this is a big deal, but it is a bit odd. And don't be tough on the material; it's weenieness is partly why it's so light. If weight to warmth ratio is important to you, in addition to a cute fit, this just might be the down jacket for you. |

| Am 5'4" 150 lbs w/ broad shoulders and fit. I ordered a large and it is huge. Shoulders and arms are designed for a gorilla. Length is nice. Torso is large and boxy. I expected an athletic fit in this technical jacket and was dissapointed. I understand that the shoulders are large so you can raise your arms without the jacket riding up. But, the shoulders are enormous...overkill for the purpose. The bronze fabric is stunning though. Dark and light fibers are woven together to give the look and feel of real silk. It really is beautiful, like brushed bronze. Very unique and luxurious. I like the color and fabric so much that I am extremely sad about the fit. Probably best suited for someone who is top heavy or wanting a large, roomy jacket to go over other bulky layers. (sleeves are long too). |

| The jacket seems as warm as my Northface Nuptse, BUT it's HUGE. I also have a Mountain Hardware monkey jacket in M. I am 5'9"/135 lb. The sleeves are a little shorter than I would like, but the monkey fits well. I double-checked the sizing before I ordered M in the Phantom, but when it came, it was giant. I could gain 50 lbs and still wear it... |
