Description of Mountain Hardwear Carson Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's:
Wear the Mountain Hardwear Men's Carson Long-Sleeve Shirt for cool-weather backpacking. Tough nylon-polyester material withstands the stress and friction of a backpack, and side seams avoid hip bone areas, thus eliminating abrasion. The Carson Shirt wicks moisture away from the skin and moves it to the outside of the material where it can evaporate, helping to keep you dry after hours of hiking.
Bottom Line: Work up a sweat. The Mountain Hardwear Carson Shirt will take care of it.
I was terribly unhappy with this shirt. Comfort is not this shirt's specialty. The feel of this shirt is comparable to the tissue paper of gift bags. And, oh, man, did someone say plaid? I understand that it's obviously plaid, but I was hoping for more of a subtle-plaid rather than dad-plaid. But beyond just some personal gripes, the cuffs were pretty tight. My thin frame struggled to get my hands through the cuffs without going through the whole buttoning process. My recommendation: try another shirt.
But hey! Luckily Backcountry has a great return policy. I love these guys!
I am 5'7" and 175LBS. The arms are slightly long, but the chest fits perfectly. Love the zipping side vents to let the cool evening breezes of any town USA flow through.
