Description of Mountain Hardwear Lhotse Parka - Women's: |
 |
Named after the world's fourth-highest peak, the Mountain Hardwear Women's Lhotse Parka keeps you warm and dry in cold temps at high elevations. Relentless powder-seekers need a jacket that will keep the snow out at all costs. The Lhotse's waterproof, breathable Conduit laminate, one-handed hood and hem drawcords, and adjustable powder skirt seal out the fresh stuff so you can tear it up in comfort. Mountain Hardwear lined the Lhotse Jacket with Arctic Fleece and insulated the sleeves, so you'll stay nice and toasty during icy winds on the lift. When you need some ventilation, unzip the underarm vents for a quick cool-down. Inner pockets store your MP3 player, water bottle, and goggles, and a drop-down season pass pocket keeps you ready to ride.
Bottom Line: This Mountain Hardwear ski jacket gives you Lhotse warmth and weather protection. Zing!

| With half a saesons worth of play time, this coat has served me well. The amount and location of the pockets are key! Warm and weather resistant, however sometimes a bit too warm with the only vents under the arms. For the price I am very pleased with this buy! |

| Old School Technology with a High Price 02-04-08 |

| I purchased this jacket, along with the MH Freeride pants. First of all the jacket was HUGE, especially in the arms. I always wear a medium and was swimming in the jacket, however I barely fit into the matching pants. I guess MH expects you to have huge arms and no a$$. Now onto the oldschool technology. The jacket was lined with Fleece, instead of primaloft or a more high tech lining. I know this is only a shell, but my Orage shell, which this jacket was to replace, has better insulation, more pockets, and a better overall fit. I guess I'm sticking with my Orage setup for one more year. |
