I absolutely love my Mountain Hardwear jacket! I'd heard they were really tough and long lasting, but the fact that it actually covers that little space between the bottom of my jacket and the top of my pants, even when I bend down to adjust my bindings - is absolutely amazing! It's waterproof, windproof, breathable and fits like a glove! I really love the red colour when I'm running errands downtown too - looks and feels great! And there are plenty of pockets inside and out! There's just enough room to layer just the right amount of layers to handle -20 Celsius weather and it will probably work well on its own this spring. 2 thumbs up for sure!
This is a jacket without all the bells and whistles, but it is lightweight, durable, and a good fit. It might be a bit difficult with a harness to access side pockets, but there are some internal pockets and one chest pocket that are easy to access. The length of the jacket is one of the best features - covers the bum pretty well and won't creep up when you're bending over. There is some extra room in the body to wear a fleece underneath, which is important. It's pretty goodlooking too. Size small fit me well: 5'5", 137 lbs, athletic build.

Love the jacket, particularly the length, but unfortunately had to return it. I wanted it to zip in my 'Flip' jacket but despite the description saying it is compatible, it's not.
