Description of Mountain Hardwear Spearhead Glove :
Protect your hands from whatever the winter weather brings with the Mountain Hardwear Spearhead Ski Gloves. Just like the popular three-in-one jacket, they adapt to suit changing conditions. Mountain Hardwear constructed the Spearhead Gloves with a three-layer waterproof breathable insert that seals out snow and water. Conduit softshell outers provide flexibility, and goatskin palms and fingers give these ski gloves grip and durability. The fleece liner adds extra warmth for off-piste skiing in frigid temps. Remove this fleece inner glove on less frigid resort days—the shell's polyester lining wicks moisture to keep your fingers dry and content.
Bottom Line: The Mountain Hardwear Spearhead Gloves offer customizable protection and warmth.
Workmanship is very good, strap system is amazing and quick. The velcro for the inner fleece is just on one side which makes difficult to put them on. Every time when I remove my gloves, the fleece is coming out with my hand. The leather on the palms is nice and soft.
Nice glove, but I had to return it. I am a bit picky, but I don't like how the liner attaches to the shell: one little piece of velcro. I prefer velvro all the way around like the BD gloves or at least a big patch of it top and bottom like OR gloves. Instead you HAVE to have a hold of the inner glove in order to put it on.
I wanted a black glove. The picture shows a black glove but not the neon bright, yellow inside the cuff which didn't suit my taste. Just a color thing for me, the fit and workmanship looked fine as you would expect from Mountain Hardwear.
