Description of Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket - Women's: |
 |
You need uncompromised functionality, alpine style, and comfort, and the Mountain Hardwear Women's Synchro Jacket gives you one simple solution. The Synchro entered the world of technical jackets as the first truly waterproof softshell. With the flexibility you need to get you to the top of a frozen waterfall and the complete watertightness required for long ski tours, this lightweight, breathable jacket gives you unmatched performance in any snowsport. A microfleece lining gives you added comfort, and taped seams give you added weather protection.
Bottom Line: Satisfy your backcountry outerwear needs in one jacket—the Mountain Hardwear Synchro.

| This jacket it alright, I think it runs a bit small and isn't very warm. I highly recommend getting the hooded one, and ordering the size up if sometimes you are the size up. This jacket is also kind of short. The sleeves are long so you can cover your hands when it is cold, and they have an extra layer of fleece at the end to help with keeping the cold out as well. This is a fully waterproof soft shell, which is nice and different. If you are debating between this and one of the Arcteryx softshells, go with Arcteryx. |

| Sleeves too long 01-30-08 |

| First of all, the jacket is gorgeous and I really wish it fit. I am pear-shaped, so I ordered a LARGE to make sure the jacket fit in the hips (I'm 5'6", 145 lbs). The jacket did fit perfectly in the hips, but the arms were WAY too long....like down to my finger tips. If you have this same problem, I would recommend looking at the Backcountry Shift Softshell Jacket or the Ibex Pingo Jacket. Both of these jackets (size L) fit me very well and were very similar to the Mountain Hardwear Synchro Jacket. |

| Great jacket but... 01-18-09 |

| I loved this jacket...the style was great and technically one of the best out there. But it just didn't fit. I usually wear a small but neither a small or medium fit. The problem was the shoulders, it was just too tight. I have fairly broad shoulders but don't usually have a problem with jackets. Sadly I had to send it back (twice). If you have broad shoulders like I do, you might try the Marmot Gravity instead...fits perfect. |
