Count on the incredibly lightweight Mountain Hardwear Women's Epic Pant to keep your legs dry on backcountry skiing and alpine climbing trips. Though it weighs only 7 ounces, this waterproof breathable pant provides excellent protection with Conduit Silk-coated Epic fabric. Mountain Hardwear trimmed everything unnecessary off the Epic Pants in the name of saving weight. Expect no pockets, no side zips, and no powder cuffs. An elastic waist and VELCROŽ Brand Fastener tabs seal snow out of the cuffs, because when it really comes down to it, that's all you need.

They're rain pants, so I don't love them, but they fit well, are light weight and kept me dry on a bike trip where it rained for a couple days. The elastic is not super flattering, but it keeps the moisture out and makes these pants easy to get on and off over whatever else you're wearing. I am 5'6" 135lbs and got the mediums, which fit great over sweatpants or jeans, could have gone with a small if I was just planning on having baselayers or tights underneath.
Super good pant. Just got these a little bit ago because they were on sale for 40 bucks in Moab. Got the womens small, which wasn't that good of a size fit being a 32 waisted man, however it totally does the job. Very light and pretty breathable, but don't expect the water proof/resistant coating to last too long, you will have to reapply it
