Okay, I live in what's considered a normally warm climate, but during the winter months I break this badboy out, and it rocks! It does great against the wind, and its not that heavy (I've never touched an 800 jacket though).
Perfect for the colder nights in the urban setting, didn't compress small enough for me to consider taking it backpacking with me.
I'm 5'10, 180 and the medium is an athletic fit, just the way I like it!
Great jacket, the only bummer is that very small amounts of the feather have come out, but I would totally buy this jacket again
This jacket has kept me nice and warm into the low teens. It repelled wind and snow as well. It's lightweight and compresses well too.
It doesn't breathe well enough to hike with, but that's the nature of a down jacket. I've tried hiking in it a couple of times and just wound up too sweaty at the end of the day.
