May be acceptable for active situations, however it is not recommended for relaxing in, the itch will ultimately annoy you. I recommend spending the extra money for Smartwool or icebreaker.

I have Smartwool and Ibex shirts. Seemed like this might be similar at a better price, but these feel like wearing a burlap sack and are not similar at all. Not a good deal at any price!

Seemed itchy/scratchy when I first put it on, but after a washing and shrinking in the dryer, its a lot softer. Much heavier weight than a lot of the other wool T's I've seen, plus it has this dual hem along the bottom that seems to make it feel heavier. Not something I would pack, but will definitely wear it as my base for several days.
