Description of Marmot Cristallo Jacket - Men's: |
 |
Tough, lightweight, and straightforward, Marmot’s do-anything Cristallo Jacket racks up days on the ski hill, afternoons of hiking wet passes, and dreary days in town. Marmot’s waterproof breathable 2-layer Membrain fabric fends off external moisture while it vents your body heat, maintaining a consistent core temperature at all times. Bust open the Cristallo’s Pit Zips when the day heats up and unzip the removable hood for some more sunshine and extra head room.
Bottom Line: Heavy protection on a diet.

| Like the Tamarack Lite 09-14-09 |
Brian O'Doherty (4): |
| I couldn't find anything on this jacket, and found out from Marmot it is a special request from another company. 09' model.
When speaking with Marmot, the customer service agent said it was like the Marmot Tamarack Jacket, except without all the bells and whistles like a powder skirt etc.
I plan on using it for biking in rain/backpacking. I will update later with my impressions! |

| Awesome Jacket 09-28-09 |
Brian O'Doherty (4): |
| The Jacket is a 3rd party request. Essentially it's a Marmot jacket, with a few tweaks here and there. From a Marmot service rep, I've been told it's most like the Tamarack, except lighter (no powder skirt), and a few other changes. This jacket runs LARGE. Body: 6'2 155-160lbs I was swimming in a medium, in many aspects. Shoulder was huge, chest was huge, length was ok, maybe a bit to long on the waist and arms but not bad. I got the small and it fits GREAT. Length is perfect, and I wish the cut was more athletic, but o well, still not that bulky. Overall, this jacket feels great. Nice and reasonably cool for a long sleeve anything, during a 10 min bike ride at 68F meaning it breathes well. Fabric seems durable and of course water beads up well. We shall see if it stands the test of time. This seems like a very versatile jacket, which is exactly what I wanted. Not super lite but not bulky with extra features for one sport (like skiing) |

| The jacket is large. I am 6'2 158 pounds and I am certainly dealing with to much baggage at a Medium. The jacket feels super comfy, not to heavy and well made but the fit was just to large, especially in the shoulders. I am pretty sure the small will fit me well in torso length and arm length. I feel like I'll be able to layer decently even with the small also. |
