Very comfortable softshell, I'm 5'8 145 and ended up going with the small for a more athletic fit and it fits well. The waist does not go down very far, but to be expected with a smaller fit. Love all the pockets (arm, inside, and two waist). Wore it with only t-shirt underneath out in 10 degree temps with -10 windchill and my core was not cold at all. Very good jacket for price.
Not water proof, but a decent soft shell. Fights wind well. My main problem was the fit. I am 5'9" and a medium normally works well for me. However, this jacket was a bit big on me. I like the athletic fit (Mountain Hardwear).
