Definitely just a shell so remember to layer underneath, but it's an awesome shell! It keeps me dry and comfortable all day. The arm-pit vents let me cool down after a run and the high collar lets me stay warm on the lifts. I wish it had an outside chest or arm pocket, but that is a minor complaint. An awesome jacket.
This jacket is not nice. Its fit is awful, and its hood is strangely attached to the jacket... I would really like to say its a good jacket, but mine will be heading back to s&c as quickly as possible.
