Description of Marmot Highland Jacket - Women's: |
The Marmot Women's Highland Jacket uses fully seam-taped waterproof breathable PreCip fabric to provide total rain protection for a wet day in the city. If you live in a really rainy place like Seattle, the Highland Jacket should be considered a necessity equipment. A long 36in center back length gives this Marmot jacket lots of coverage, so you can wear your nicest under it and not worry about being covered with water when you show up to dinner.
Bottom Line: Leave your umbrella in the closet and bring along the Marmot Highland Jacket when the weather calls for constant rain.

| Perfect Travel Jacket 02-22-09 |
Anonymous: |
| This is essentially a long wind and waterproof jacket. Perfect for travel when you want something a little longer to cover the bootie. Believe the reviews when it says to order one size up. I ordered my regular size, then had to return it and get the next size up. Nice trim fit. Is neat, not sloppy looking with the great Precip fabric. |

| Nice little Jacket 12-31-08 |

| If you're looking for PreCip functionality with a little more feminine cut, this is it. I Bought this jacket for my wife. Cut long enough to keep the thighs dry - my own PreCip would soak my legs (due to 'runoff' from the upper body) if I was wearing jeans in a downpour. I would be curious to see how this jacket fares on the trail - it is tight-cut and tight-fitting and I fear it might rip or tear as it does not have much wiggle room. Overall, does what it says. Only gets 4 stars b/c it's a city jacket |
